Google "Al Haymon Wilder DAZN deal" and you can read why Haymon talked him out of it. In all honesty, I think he was tempted, but people need to remember that Haymon plays a big part in why Wilder isn't broke. He's all ego and I can already tell doesn't understand the intricacies in contractual negotiations...hence why he's out here talking about "egg weights" and not shutting up and letting Haymon and co. handle business.

Remember Canelo's deal was worth "$300m" too, and yet he seemed desperate to get out of it...why? Because those deals are hardly ever guaranteed and lock fighters into stipulations and opponents they often have no real interest in. Wilder would have been left out of the loop since Joshua lost to Ruiz and would not have been able to stage his Fury rematch. That's just the way boxing goes. Hearn and Joshua should have taken Wilder on before he even got in touch with Fury in 2018...now they're never really going to open themselves up to the American market...ESPECIALLY after the loss to Ruiz. Remember that Wilder is more famous here than Joshua is there.
Let's just hope that the Fury III & AJ fights come back around for him. Hearing the excuses I don't think he'll ever get there again, but I do want him to try.

People who go along with that tosh are idiots, ruins the sport and stops the best fighting the best.

I gave up on this clown at 33 fights when he refused to fight Klitschko even though Finkel was theer advisor. There was no Fury, AJ, Warren, Hearn to deal with so he can't blame them or egg weights.

Fury and AJ both went on to fight a Klitschko and make their names in way fewer fights.

Let me guess, drug test the fighter, trainers, run a background check, pick gloves, shoes, shorts, cup, mouthpiece, ring size, stool, water bottle, corners. You got beat twice by the "coward" just accept it and stop coming out with excuses. Everyone in this world takes losses. keep grinding.

His next fight won't be against any of those guys.

This broken fool gonna go back to fighting bums. He wasted all this time til the contract expired yet calls Fury the coward. Brain is severely damaged thanks to the Champ Tyson Fury.
