Mike Tyson is still better than the most active heavyweights

That's true. But he was at the very bottom of his psychophysical barrel then, and right in the middle of his addictions.
Put it in another way, if someone like Erkan Teper could knock Pricey out cold, why not current Tyson? I'm not saying it's a certainty, but Mike would stand a very good chance.Comment

The second part is the most true, and I'd have to agree with you.
In regard to the first, see my above reply to Deathofaclown.Comment

Teper is 6'5 and was in his physical prime when he KO'd Price. Mike is like 5´9 and in his mid 50s.Comment

But Price has always had a glass jaw, and all it would take for Tyson is connecting once. Price would not be able to stop Tyson's torpedoing his way inside in the first or second round. Even at 54.Comment

I doubt Mike could even get at Prices jaw. Back in the day his size was offset by his insane explosive speed and power, plus high level strength and durability. He is not a raging pitbull anymore, hes a 54 year old man with massively diminished physical abilities. Hes not as fast, not as strong, cant hit as hard and probably wouldnt be able to weather what a decent active HW in their 20s/30s could throw at him for very long. Age sucks, thats life.Comment

Again, the last sentence you wrote is the bitter truth, my friend.I doubt Mike could even get at Prices jaw. Back in the day his size was offset by his insane explosive speed and power, plus high level strength and durability. He is not a raging pitbull anymore, hes a 54 year old man with massively diminished physical abilities.
