I didn’t realise he was Joyce’s promoter either, the way he had been talking so dismissively of Joyce and talking about putting Dubois in with Usyk after this fight and a whole bunch of other nonsense. No class or decency whatsoever.

He really did not promote Joyce well at all. Old Fish eyes is not in a bad spot. He co-promotes Fury. He still has a young Dubois & still has Joyce who could be in line to fight for a vacant title soon if he gets Dubois’ #2 ranking with the WBO. If Fury were to beat Joshua next year & Joyce best Usyk for the vacant WBO he could make an in house unification bout at some point. Of course that is speculation on my part but it is a remote possibility. If Joyce beats Usyk maybe a rematch with Dubois for the WBO strap happens if Dubois recovers & wins s few fights. Really Warren isn’t in a bad spot at the moment.
What you’ve said is all well and good, assuming that Joyce stays with Warren, which he very well shouldn’t. And Dubois has a very long way to go before reaching world level, if at all that ever happens. There’s a lot of ifs in your post, which we’ll just have to wait and see about.
