Oscar should try to get Pacquiao instead of Crawford! Ortiz has the WBA "Gold" title, Pacquiao has the WBA "Super" title. If not Pacquiao, then WBA "Regular" Champion, Yordenis Ugas would be a good target too! Basically, ODLH should seek help from the WBA to get Ortiz a big fight!

GTFOH its time for crawford to fight legitimate proven world level fighters, not prospects or washed up fighters

Correct. Ortiz is not a "wounded duck".

            Here's the sad truth.

Virgil Ortiz would be a better opponent than anyone else on the resume even now.

Might even see Crawford experience a DuBWAH moment and take a knee late. Could you imagine? NSB would probably break.

Man that’s a fight I’d love to see. Win or lose it’s a win win for Ortiz. No way in hell Crawford fights him. He would get nothing out of it. At his age, it’s all about the biggest fights with the biggest payouts.

This would be like putting Vargas in with Trinidad. Not saying it would end the same but would be the same kind of unnecessary risk.

Would not be fair to throw him in with Crawford just yet. At least 3 or 4 fights first. I can see the benefit for Crawford's resume in the future though, seeing as Ortiz is likely to become a very successful fighter.

Hell Yeah!!! Oscar and Arum should make this fight for Cinco De Mayo weekend 2021. No better way to spurn Canelo and Reynoso than taking the Mexican dates away from them. Much rather see Crawford Vs Ortiz Jr. than Canelo against an over the hill fighter like GGG or Kovalev. If Ortiz comes out victorious kid becomes the new face of the welterweight division and sets up a future Megafight with Errol Spence @ Cowboy Stadium, let’s goo
