    Joe Joyce beats AJ.

Has a great chin, great stamina and heaps pressure onto his opponent. Nightmare matchup for AJ IMO.

Have to admit I was very wrong about Joe. I doubted he could transition into the pro’s successfully, he gives any heavyweight not named Tyson Fury a very tough night.

Joyce reminds me a bit of a heavyweight Carl Froch. Not the most talented technically, throws awkward punches, decent jab, tremendous chin, toughness, great stamina, and real will to win.

It is admirable when somebody can admit when they were wrong about something, that is never easy to do.

Who knows about AJ? Two big lumps chopping away until someone falls down. AJ does have much better movement than Dubois though, and better punch selection. His power is also proven at the higher levels. Would be an intriguing fight for sure, but see AJ as a strong favourite. Question is, does AJ start getting flashbacks of Madison Square Garden, when Joyce is still slowly, methodically clubbing away into the later rounds?

It's always the same with Joyce. They say "they will need to hurt him early!", but it never happens.

Joyce's jab is not going to be enough to beat AJ. He would need to step on the gas and force AJ to fight relentlessly or box on his toes.

            Not so sure.

Joyce is incredibly slow and has a very shakey defense.

            Can’t see him beating AJ.

            I like Joe though.

Actually, I really don't think so. He can't outbox Joshua and that lazy stuff won't work. You gotta put together combinations on AJ, not molasses paced jabs. Joshua can actually move if he needs to.

There is definitely a possibility but it really depends on which Joshua shows up. If AJ can run the whole night as he did in Ruiz II, he probably wins on points. Not sure trading would be a good idea but it doesn't mean he would lose that either. Dubois lost because he didn't have experience on how to adjust and take advantage inside the ring. It's easy when looking back from the comfort of your TV set.

Overall, I would say AJ 70% and Joyce 30% if a lighter version of AJ turns up and 50-50 if a stiff robotic version turns up.

I feel like AJ would have 3-4 rounds to stop Joyce. As soon as he inevitably tires, I’ve got Joyce all day.

Not necessarily saying Joyce is a better fighter than AJ but I just think it’s a horrible matchup for him. I’m convinced Joyce beats him.

Klitschko had him in big trouble without throwing combos...
