Warren mentioned that Dubois may have nerve damage to the eye. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Dubois could have got him early but he ain't that experienced himself. A skilled fighter with Dubois' power should have won and while Joyce won this match, it won't surprise me if Dubois wins a rematch. Dubois needs to learn a lot from a boxing perspective and the good thing is he has got time to do it. And now with a loss, he can definitely improve his skills. For him, I would like to see him fight the likes of Whyte or Hrgovic or Hunter.

Joyce is good, iron chined but slow. He destroys most boxers until he meets a powerful and agile guy with reasonable defense. Joyce surely beats Whyte but gets outboxed by Usyk. If Usyk is fighting AJ, Joyce can take on Povetkin or Whyte or Parker or Ortiz. Not sure the likes of Wilder, Fury, or AJ would want to fight him unless it is mandatory. They get nothing for winning but a huge risk of losing.
Dubois needs to link up with Ann Wolfe orbFreddy Roach.

I agree 200%. I thought the same, I never in my whole life have ever seen a heavyweight boxer won with only one single left (slow & power) jab in the whole fight without using the right hand and without throw power punches. Very weird. Dubois does not have head movement, very bad for him, he needs to improve that very soon in order to be successful. Sorry for my English.

Joyces' punches are so slow you can send a text out before they hit you. Awful boxer.

Joyce is a motherfcckin machine, keepings coming forward, throwing jabs consistently and always ready to fight back.
                  Great win.
I knew it will be a great fight but I leaned on DDD to carry the day but boxing says other wise.

You are 0 for 2 with your A S S umptions. I’m a former United States Marine so im as American as they come. I’ve been watching “this sport” starting with watching Mike Tyson fight as a teenager. Growing up while my friends were taking about NFL, NBA I would talk about boxing which was foreign to them. Had this fight continued it would have been stopped “on the advice of the doctor” or the way it ended.

Good fight, didn't know how it would end until the sudden stoppage. Joyce gets alot criticism, he's stiff, slow and gets hit. However, he's big, strong and has a granite chin. His resume isn't any worse than Luis Ortiz's.

Feel bad for Dubois, and I think the criticism is harsh. The way he reacted, something very bad happened to that eye, hopefully nothing that causes permanent damage. Warren did him a disservice by not putting him in with someone who could test him more. He went the distance with Kingpin Johnson but he would have been better served fighting someone like Christian Hammer or even Mariusz Wach.
