ugh man sad to say i feel ya...this year has been real hard for boxing fans...last year was pretty meh too tbh ...we have to wait years for a great fight...with an undercard full of crap ...im getting spoiled by ufc they have rank 1 vs rank 2 guy like every week or two..sure **** decisions happen ..but at least theres a good fight after an before to cusion the blow ...boxing really needs to take some notes...i watched 4 rounds last night and went to bed..couldnt care less who won even though i have a soft spot for rosado lol

I don't think anyone is complaining about the good matchups. I think people complain cuz the good matchups don't happen as often as they could if the sport made sense outside of the ring as much as other sports make sense outside of their arena of competition.

All these other pro sports are Amazon or Walmart with their level of professionalism, Boxing is like a swap meet or flea market. Basically we all enjoy the good fights while thinking the sport could be doing better more often than it does if their was a real sport infrastructure looking out for the sport of boxing instead of just cashing out or trying to get the most money while offering the least to fans like it does 95% of the time.

imagine the HW scene without aj, fury, wilder, ortiz, ruiz, whyte, povetkin, usyk etc
imagine only one company like matchroom were monopolising the sport.
imagine they were pumping $10-20m a card into promoting/advertising (hyping)..
and all of that hype was going into the likes of dominic brezeale, charles martin, bryant jennings, eric molina, helenius, dave allen, david price etc

in addition due to it being a monopoly, these guys would be in a cut throat situation where they have to 'perform' or else...

basically you would get to watch brezeale the 6ft 7 monster vs charles 'the God' martin...and it would be a competitive fight in relative terms..
it would be trending all over social media. celebs would be spunking themselves to it's tune.

now imagine allen babic walking onto the scene...and destroying those guys
he would be the greatest ever..

so what if al decided, aside from the odd tune up eg for ruiz and yoka coming off his suspension

we get all those guys fighting each other. that's 3-4 yrs of elite HW boxing.
they could give fights to dubois too int he US because he'swith frank warren and a free agent in the US.

what did al do?
yoka and ajagba have gone to TR
ruiz has gone down the adrien broner route...
ortiz fighting another bum in a 5 second fight.

truth is, pbc is a money laundering operation for an obscure bunch of 'investors'

al sets them up with knock off properties and they fix those properties for lease through the dirty money.
