It definitely wasn’t a hook. He doesn’t rotate his body at all. It’s a hybrid type punch but it’s far more reminiscent of a jab than a hook.

It sure looked like a stiff jab and not a hook to me. I think some called it a hook because it dropped Brook. The punch looked like a straight punch to me. If it was a curving hooking type punch with Crawford turning his shoulders and body into the punch I sure missed it. I have seen that punch at least 20 times and it always looks like a hard jab that caught Brook rushing in.

It was a very well timed shot but it was a southpaw jab looking at it from a technical perspective.

Just shows how punch placement can sometimes be more important than punch power.

that shot from crawford was nice, brook has had a very good career and always fought hard in his fights, he's just underachieved a bit due to his personality i think, pac is a legend, in the best ive fought series on boxers, he always features highly as an opponent, at all weight's he's fought at, amazing really
