What would you call it then? A screw shot or something?

It was a very well timed shot but it was a southpaw jab looking at it from a technical perspective.

Just shows how punch placement can sometimes be more important than punch power.

It wasn’t a jab, a jab doesn’t move across your body. The punch was very strong, it was a strong-arm hook angled to land. No telegraph and Brook caught it terribly unawares.

It definitely wasn’t a hook. He doesn’t rotate his body at all. It’s a hybrid type punch but it’s far more reminiscent of a jab than a hook.

Too much weight draining affects your ability to take a punch........ Pacquiao was getting KTFO at the low weights.

Yes you are right. It is not fair. What boxers can take and still stay excellent varies a lot from boxer to boxer. Hopkins could still fight at the championship level until he was 50 years old. No other boxer could do that. Part of it is a boxer taking the best possible care of their body and health and training hard but smart and managing their career and getting rest between fights. Part of it is genetics for sure.
