Any excuse he dropped since it’s pretty much just the truth anyway, he wasn’t training properly and making weight properly and his hands were shot. Even the people around pretty much said it before the fight and for a while.

All he’s ever said was Barrera was better on the night and he felt he could’ve beaten Barrera at his best, Which is possible.

Agreed. I just meant that the issues with his hands and the weight can be looked at as excuses but he’s always maintained that Barrera was better on the night and the problems Hamed had were well documented long before that fight. Nowhere near the same as Wilder’s reaction to his loss.
