Why are US boxers allergic to being graceful in defeat?

The same is happening with WIlder and he has made 1 million and 1 excuses and more excuses are still coming. Fury drew the first fight which he should've won and didn't make any excuse about it being the first time he's in a proper fight since his hiatus and actually told the Brits in the audience the night he was cheated to show restraint.

Americans are sore losers and it's shameful at this point. And the idiotic American fan boys stay pushing this dumb narrative. Shut up and suck it up, you bellends!
The culture is horrible in America overall. Zero humility and a bunch of participation trophy *****es, taking pictures in the endzone that they practiced if they scored... it's fking sad.

I don't let it happen around me.

I think it depends on the person, not where they're from. Even when fighters are gracious in defeat, there's usually some type of excuse. I think Wilder's actions have been unique and nowhere near comparable to the way Ruiz handled his loss. Ruiz, like most boxers accepted his loss but dropped in a couple of excuses. I've never seen a reaction like Wilder's.

Look at Loma for example, he didn't accept his loss, said he won and started taking pictures in a hospital bed with a shoulder injury he claims he suffered during camp when he spent the build up telling us that it's the first time he's been 100% and he's about to show us something we've never seen before. That was worse than Ruiz's reaction to the AJ rematch and Loma isn't American.

He had one more fight and then quit but he accepted his loss. Said Barrera was the better man on the night. He didn't accuse anyone of cheating and if I recall didn't make any excuses at the time.

He has dropped the odd excuse in there since but he was generally gracious in defeat and nowhere near comparable to how Wilder took his loss.

It's a silly thread in the first place, how a fighter takes an L shouldn't have anything to do with where they're from.

                It’s generalising a bit really.

Prograis didn’t really complain about the Taylor defeat. It was a close fight and he felt he did enough, but he at knowledged it was close and could’ve gone either way.

There’s fighters from all countries that are bad at admitting they lost. JMM and Cotto were similar. Pac didn’t take his loss to Floyd well and come up with bogus injuries, same as Loma.

No, he fought again and then retired because his hands were shot. His hands were shot for a few years.

                    Hamed took the loss well

Any excuse he dropped since it’s pretty much just the truth anyway, he wasn’t training properly and making weight properly and his hands were shot. Even the people around pretty much said it before the fight and for a while.

All he’s ever said was Barrera was better on the night and he felt he could’ve beaten Barrera at his best, Which is possible.
