what money was offered ? All I recall is Oscar in some coke fueled rant saying they offered the fight but no specifics were said and charlos trainer said nobody ever contacted haymon. Oscar likes to do that where he reaches out to a third party who can’t make deals and then he comes back and says, oh we offered them the fight. Unless you know specifics of what was offered otherwise. All I know is charlo was the mandatory and canelo dropped his belt in favor of a belt the wbc just made up for him to not have to face mandatories.

I don't think Canelo or GGG were too eager to face Charlo - high risk low reward and all that.

Do you have evidence of Charlo/his team refuting the narrative from De La Hoya that they offered the fight for $10 million?

I feel like I remember Charlo getting asked about that and he didn't deny it.

Canelo has a better resume then charlo and ggg combined try again

G has Canelo x2, Jacobs, Murray, Chenko, Geale, Lemieux and Macklin. There's also a few decent wins in there too.

Canelo has Kovalev (Old, ropey, and intentionally brought back so soon after his fight in Russia to make sure he wasn't at his best, even though he was already very much past it)

Jacobs (Who he tried to weight drain like others)

Trout (Who beat no one his own weight that was fresh whether they were good or decent. A smaller past his prime Cotto is as good as it gets for him)

Canelo doesn't come close to G's accomplishments. He never will either.

Enjoy a Canelo special next time out with Smith only allowed 4 weeks (Yes, you read that right) to prepare with proper sparring and getting over to the US to acclimatise. We don't yet know if Canelo has his usual cowardly weight restriction for this fight, but it probably does. Canelo also knows that Smith wouldn't have really started with the weight making process due to Canelo leaving him in the dark on purpose to give his usual advantages he likes. And we both know how big Smith is at the weight. Canelo and team knew exactly what they were doing here. Don't even try and pretend with this clown any more. He's an embarrassment. Have some dignity and give him the old heave ho.

F*** me can anyone believe GGG is nearly 39 years old where did the time go damn! I really can't see what's next for Golovkin after this fight, surely a unification against either Charlo or Andrade would be dope but GGG got all his big fights after 35 years of age and that's sad he was avoided for years until he looked beatable. We should enjoy what's left because i dare say it will be 3 or 4 more fights maximum.

I genuinely believe it will 2 fights at most. Definitely if it's Canelo. G is so old he'll lose that fight legitimately on the cards this time. And even if he wins, he'll still get stiffed like the first two.

DAZN won't be on board with fights like this after this one. IT has to be one of the main fighters on the DAZN roster. Which i think G loses. Then he retires.

Yeah, Khan, L Smith, Fielding, a shot Chavez, a shot and smaller Cotto, a shot Kirkland, and a shot Angulo were very decent. I'm surprised there weren't any rematches with these super fights.

The Canelo rematch was already being put together so G wasn't going to fight Charlo. Then G was ripped off of his titles by Canelo. But when Canelo sent an offer to Charlo, it was turned down. Canelo then dropped the title.

It's already been accepted by Charlo's side they turned it down.
