Are we in for 2 years of Teo, Tank, Haney facing B level comp while calling themselves the A side and saying their rivals need to prove themselves more?

I don't doubt the fighters, I'm sure they're all hungry for big fights but they have promoters who don't like to work together whispering in their ear that the fights will be bigger down the line

I hope not, but Lopez fought Commey and Lomachenko. He has 3/4 belts after well under 20 fights. His willingness to fight the top dogs is not in question here.

Davis is a 130 lber, and the legit WBA champ at that weight. So as much as I would love that fight between him and Lopez, I wont call Davis a duck for not taking it until hes ready at 135. He has a lot of work he could be doing at 130.

That leaves us with Haney. What can I say about this guy ? A 2x World champion who has never fought or beat any fighter who has ever been, or will ever become a world champion outside of Gamboa in his last fight. Hopefully this guy steps it up, or fights Lopez so we can see how good he really is.

Bottomline where are your PPV’s at? Beating Loma is the starting point but you don’t have the financial record to compete as the A-side. And if you start fighting nobodies at Top Rank that will not help. If you want the a-side don’t announce it go out and earn it.
Tank is not the A side because this was his only PPV and they used Santa Cruz's fanbase to help generate better numbers in the Alamo dome and it still flopped. I'd say with what Lopez brings to the table its even money but Tank isn't going to be able to use Floyd's name or formula to be the A-side. It really doesn't matter because in the end you could read between the lines. Floyd isn't going to let Tank fight them killers at 135 unless he's getting 70% of the pot and thankfully Teo is smart enough not to fall for that bs. In the meantime Tank will campaign at 130 where he could be a star without too much resistance. Teo will either defend against Kambosos or move up to 140 for a tune up to line himself up for a second unification challenge

Look at the end of the day Teo destroyed Commey, who was a real champ, and beat the top three pound4pound on most lists he isn't going to waste his time on untested talent. Bring something to the table that creates buzz then you could talk about you earned a shot. Screw all the corrupt belt politics the real champion is the one who did the hard work and that's Teofimo and Loma before him.

Not the one shouting it to the boxing media. And it isn’t who is the most proven today.

If Terrence Crawford attempts to fight Manny Pac Man Pacquiao, Manny would be the A-Side. TC would be the favorite. He would also be P4P number one. However Pacquiao is the financial draw.

That is Davis right now. Not saying Teo can’t earn it but he is going to have to finish his rise as a draw. His name is getting out there but until further notice he is not selling like Davis.

Maybe you are thinking outside of business about who would be the boxing writer’s favorite going into the fight?
Naw brother I’m talking who brings in the views
              And money.

A Lopez vs Davis fight is 60-40 all the way.

              Davis May have his social
Media following but he ain’t even ranked top 10 by any worthy analyst/ reporter etc.

Lopez just beat the p4p 1 guy and given Lopez’s international
Market and buzz he’s created from his spectacular wins and celeberations, Lopez is known far more and is def the A-Side.

Don’t let Instagram fool you, I don’t even have a gram but I do watch fights. I do love boxing and know the goods when I see it.

Lopez is the goods. A-Side at 135 against anybody, if not more than the simple fact he has the espn machine behind him and he just beat the consensus #1 p4p guy.

Teo is to rip apart tank's @ss solely throwing words and Floyed can't help that dumb slowspeaking mfer.
THat's the proper target of teo's river of wise trashtalking. I liked how he said Floyed can be A-side if he fights him, haha.

They are so concerned about spending less that they hang young fighters out to dry because they don’t want to promote anymore and now they don’t even want to pay good competition. I think Teo will be a star but it will take him forcing fights like he did with Loma. But Kambosos can’t be his new level of competition.
That's facts! I don't think that will be his new level, but there's money to be made in Australia! He has to wait for Ramirez vs. Taylor, and then the winner has to face Catterall, so there's time before he gets a title shot @ 140! I thought he should fight Verdejo or Pedraza on PR Parade Weekend in NYC!
