Losing close decisions to Keith Thurman, and Shawn Porter, two fights which some fans had him winning. That said Spence should concentrate on fighting, and winning his next fight against Danny Garcia. Which isn't a guaranteed win for him, by any stretch of the imagination. Thinking about fighting Canelo who is 3 divisions, and is 20 pounds above his is disturbing, if not crazy. Danny has the power to knockout anyone in the welterweight division, including Errol Spence. Danny stood a good chance of beating Errol prior to Errol's horrible, and damaging accident. Danny's chances of winning have only gotten greater, since the accident which caused so much damage to his face, and head. He doesn't remember anything about the accident, that's indicative of some kind of lingering damage to a certain part of the brain. I hope that Errol Spence doesn't get hurt in this, or any other subsequent fights in his career. This fight will indicate whether Spence's career will be continuing, or coming to it's end. I really don't think taking this fight upon his return to the ring, after that violent car crash is a good idea at all. The fight is only 11 days away, lets see exactly what the truth is. God bless them both, and get them through this fight safely.
Very good take on this fight and my thoughts exactly.

Sparring is sparring.Greg Page gave Mike Tyson the business in sparring.Explain to me how the guy who gets hes head jabbed off by Porter compares in any way with Floyd Mayweather.

"At the end of the day", Floyd is on record saying Spence gave him rough work - and the world witnessed that Carnelo did not.

Thus, it stands to reason that SKILL FOR SKILL (i.e. regardless of size discrepancy), Spence is the more SKILLED fighter than Carnelo.

Work way up to 160 if market right go to 157 catchweight then 160 vs ggg for he might fought canelo but either way aging champ by 2022 should be completly shot itd also give ggg cashouy retirement non canelo or crossover fight. Then go after canelo. He might command catchweight 164. But if want fight wth best hype n chance to win from spence angle this best way build it . 147 defense thrn move up 154 or caychweight then ggg end 2021 or begging 2022 then canelo

I appreciate you agreeing with my analysis BlackRObbb, it takes some time to really think these fights through. I could be wrong, and then Spence would surprise everyone including Garcia. I just can't see it that way, Spence is speaking slower, and there seems to be a droning sound in his speech. I've never detected either coming from him in the past, when speaking or responding to questions his thought process is a bit delayed. Prior to the accident he's always been a relaxed, and deliberate speaker. Which has turned into a slowed, and labored speaker. Watching, and hearing him in his latest video for his upcoming fight, have caused me concern.

Its sparring, Price knocked Joshau spark out, would you pick Price to beat Klitchko the way Joshua did? We know that Spadafora gave Floyd all he could handle in sparring ,Tua smashed the hell out of Holyfield the list goes on.Lets talk about what matters.Spence was out boxed by Brook and out boxed by Porter ,who is a swarmed.Theres no comparison between Floyd's skill level and Spence.Think about it,a guy who goes life and death with Porter outboxes a Canelo level fighter with ease? Whatever your smoking save me some ..

I agree. Something looks and seems off about Spence. Another thing is I think his punching power is a little bit overrated. The main problem with Danny is he never really lets his hands go. He'll need to change that to win on the 5th. Porter exposed some of Errol's flaws. I don't think Errol fights well on the back foot. The Brook fight also showed this. Kell had large pockets of success in that fight until his face started crumbling. That car crash Spence had was scary. It had to leave mental and emotional scars. I pray I'm wrong.

Floyd went "life and death" with Oscar before outboxing a "Canelo level fighter". Or did you forget?

                      Styles make fights, bro.
