I couldn’t imagine what boxing would have been like in late 70s 80s if Hagler Srl Hearns Benitez Duran would have been like these puzzy boys. They fought to be the best not marinate fights hoping they never come off.Hiding behind promoters. These guys cared about their legacies. There were two bad ass welters and they wanted the fight.Spence will get away with not fighting Bud but when it comes down to legacy time with historians you are not getting off with the other promoter was mean and my promoter didn’t like him. This promoter nut hugger crap started with Mayweather .

Totally agree with Crawford. If they want a fight they would call for it

No need to call anyone out Bud, leave TR and sign with anyone and you'll get better fights.

Its the opposite TC, you need to call them out louder !

Ali rented a bus and a megaphone to camp outside Listons home calling him out.

That's pretty much seems to be the attitude of like 95% of all boxers now. Just content on making good money on heavily favored fights. Seems like Oscar was the last guy that fought prime fighters to give us fans what we wanted to see.Seems like Vergil and hopefully Ryan are of the same ilk. Was a big fan of Crawford and believe hes the most talented of all welters but his lackadaisical attitude towards the effort of him promoting himself is frustrating. It's like if hes content on making what hes making fighting mediocre opposition..but hey,he really is fleecing top rank considering his past opponents, hence his nonchalant attitude.

NOBODY makes easy work of the Linebacker. NOBODY.

Which is why it's the fight Crawford should be going for. Because it will give him the chance to prove he's what appears to be.

If I made it seem that it would be an easy fight for Crawford, let me clarify my earlier comment. I know that Porter is a tough out, for anyone, and no one's knocked him out to this day. A fight between Crawford, and Porter would be a pitched battle while it lasted. Now here's the rub styles make fights, and what I'm saying is that because of Porters reckless attacks. Crawford would catch him more frequently, and with more leverage on his shots than others have been able to. I believe that those shots would begin to bust Porter up, and Crawford would be able to do what others haven't been able to do. Stop Porter by TKO, and a straight up knockout. Crawford has a very fluid boxing style, he lets go of his hands differently, and if you sting him, he's coming back at you with a vengeance. It's for those reason's I believe that Shawn Porter is the perfect knock victim for Terrance Crawford. I hope that they do make the fight, because it'll be a great challenge for both, I just think that Crawford would win that challenge by knockout.

Boxing has changed for the worse, in the US anyway. Maybe the reward is not enough for the risk.

One of the problems is the fear of an "L" and its impact on marketability. It's not really an issue in the MMA world. Certain fighters in boxing can overcome this but it's predicated on being able to either entertain or continue to beat top flight opposition (both of which are hard).

Gatti, Pacquiao, Chisora are examples of fighters past and present who can overcome losses because they can entertain, stay relevant and beat (or at least compete with) top level opposition.
