Why are we pretending like Tank is some top tier lightweight?

Tank has been a professional for almost 8 years now, and it's crazy to think he hasn't gotten one SOLID win after being a pro for almost a decade.

For the first couple of years, he goes through fighting bums/cans as most prospects do, and he gets his first somewhat decent opponent Jose Pedraza. This is probably his best victory. Undefeated, and would later give Bumchenko a run for his money. Not bad. Then he fights undefeated tomato can knockout artist Fonsesca, a top 3 Tank win. But wait! Who the **** has Fonsesca beaten? Absolutely nobody and would get first round KO'd by Ryan "instagram thot" Garcia. Later fights ancient Gamboa who was on Bambi legs during the whole fight and took him 12 rounds to stop him. Great job.

But the biggest disgrace? In his almost decade-long career as a professional boxer, his biggest paper to date is Leo Santa Cruz. On paper, it's a good test. He only has one decision loss (which he avenged) and has never been dropped except for the one time he was rabbit punched. But how big is he? Well he started fighting at ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN POUNDS!! Tank fights a dude that has NO business fighting above 126 lbs and drags him to 130 lbs. Now before you say "Oh, well he got a belt" but from who? Exactly. So of course he knocks out the twig.

And I'm supposed to believe he'd beat Teofimo, Ryan Garcia, Haney, or even Lomachenko when he's done nothing at 135 lbs and arguably 130 lbs as well?

We are in the hype job era. GGG beat bum after bum and was touted as an ATG and p4p. Crawford has a worse resume than Tank but he's top p4p. Lomachenko has a weak resume and got sonned by Salido but was p4p. This era is trash when you look at resumes. It sucks but that's where we are. At least Tank is fairly young with his resume and not in his 30's like Crawford.

I think that Tank is good but I’m not crowning him yet as some of these guys are.

I think he’d beat Lomachenko, possibly beat Garcia after a back-and-forth fight, and would probably lose to Haney and Lopez.

If he fights a decent resume, he’ll probably retire something like 44-7-2.

He kind of reminds me of Judah and Id be surprised if he even reaches that level.

        He isnt top tier yet..

Cuz Leonard and Floyd say so. Did you not see how he knocked out a Featherweight?

But he is a real good little fighter he may well turn out to be one but personally I think he's a bit small for 135 dimensions wise.

Well who is top tier at 135 then? Just Lopez and Loma?

Compare Tank’s resume to fellow “lightweight champ” Haney’s for example.

Hardcore NSB fans know what they are seeing, even his hard detractors. Davis is the guy to beat between 130 and 135. He'd be favored against anyone. Lopez would at best be 3-1 underdog.

                Blame promotions.

This era is average I would say, but most boxing fans like you are very negative people.
