As for the question at hand, there is nothing yet that indicates Tank is a top LW. He looks to be a top 130 pounder but hasn't put in the work at 135 to lay claim as being one of the best yet. Right now it is basically Lopez and Lomachenko and then the rest. Can it change? Absolutely but the rest need to start proving themselves.
Why are we pretending like Tank is some top tier lightweight?

If anybody thinks that Davis won't be competitive or is able to win against any top 135 should look to watch another sport.
Davis has murderous punching power and skills. No cake walk for any fighter.
The most unproven is Garcia from that 135 bunch.Comment

I call out all hype jobs. I am white too, geniusGGG did not beat bum after bum. He fought a few mediocre guys like every boxer in the world does. He defended his title against many top ten contenders who haters like you turned into bums as soon as he knocked them out. He is 38 now so he is not as good as he used to be but still a champion and still good. He was p4p number 1 for 3 years by Ring, Boxrec and the other major guys that rank boxers. Are they all ****** on boxing and the only smart guy is you? I don't think so. You are just a hater of Eastern European boxers as anyone who reads your past posts knows. If GGG was a black American boxer with the same record you would be praising him, not trashing him.
. I sheeit on Crawford so that praise bullsheeit is just that, bullsheeit. I can't help that you love GGG and are blind to his 90% bum filled resume.

I don't know how you define giving someone a run for their money but Pedraza's fight against Lomachenko wasn't close. We tend to think that when an underdog does better than expected but the scores were 119-107 and 117-109 twice.Tank has been a professional for almost 8 years now, and it's crazy to think he hasn't gotten one SOLID win after being a pro for almost a decade.
For the first couple of years, he goes through fighting bums/cans as most prospects do, and he gets his first somewhat decent opponent Jose Pedraza. This is probably his best victory. Undefeated, and would later give Bumchenko a run for his money. Not bad. Then he fights undefeated tomato can knockout artist Fonsesca, a top 3 Tank win. But wait! Who the **** has Fonsesca beaten? Absolutely nobody and would get first round KO'd by Ryan "instagram thot" Garcia. Later fights ancient Gamboa who was on Bambi legs during the whole fight and took him 12 rounds to stop him. Great job.
But the biggest disgrace? In his almost decade-long career as a professional boxer, his biggest paper to date is Leo Santa Cruz. On paper, it's a good test. He only has one decision loss (which he avenged) and has never been dropped except for the one time he was rabbit punched. But how big is he? Well he started fighting at ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN POUNDS!! Tank fights a dude that has NO business fighting above 126 lbs and drags him to 130 lbs. Now before you say "Oh, well he got a belt" but from who? Exactly. So of course he knocks out the twig.
And I'm supposed to believe he'd beat Teofimo, Ryan Garcia, Haney, or even Lomachenko when he's done nothing at 135 lbs and arguably 130 lbs as well?Comment

I think it has more to do with the eye test than resumes. Perhaps Tank will get exposed at some point, but until then I believe that Tank's attributes COULD allow him to be successful as a lightweight. We still have to find out of course so hopefully we get that opportunity sooner than later.Tank has been a professional for almost 8 years now, and it's crazy to think he hasn't gotten one SOLID win after being a pro for almost a decade.

Murderous punching power, at 130 and below, maybe. At 135 against a solid opponent I don't know if I would call his punching power murderous. He is talented though.Comment

Some have heavy hands and beat you down, others have one punch KO which Tank has. His body blows are hard and debilitating.Comment

Tank could move up right now and be a top lw. Just like teo could move up to 140 and give anyone a challenge.
If you dont think so you're either blind or hating. I'm not a "super fan" of either guy but they are talented enough to move up 5 pounds and hang with top fightersComment
