Comments Thread For: Kambosos: Lopez Fight in Australia is Bigger Than Pacquiao-Horn, I'll Beat Him!

George Kambosos is ready to take part in the next huge event on Australian soil. Kambosos became the IBF's mandatory lightweight challenger in 2020, after a hard-fought decision win over former world champion Lee Selby. He's now focused on colliding with with IBF, WBC Franchise, WBO, WBA world champion Teofimo Lopez, who earlier this year secured a big decision win over Vasiliy Lomachenko.

The ability to get a live gate may be a game changer I suppose. Didn't think it would be likely that Teo would travel to Australia for this fight.

As for the fight, I don't see Kambosos giving much problem to Lopez. Thought the Selby fight was pretty close.

Kambosos is pretty shitty so Teo will probably stop him mid rounds.

I can't believe Teofimo is fighting Kambosos of all people after saying Lomachenko doesn't deserve a rematch.

This is the kinda C level guy that can beat Lopez. He really has NOTHING to lose. Lopez can be a hit and miss, seeing how his ego is expanding, after the Loma fight.

He better not underestimate this guy.

Watch Kambosos' fight against Mickey Bey, this guy really has no chance. Australians seem to be durable so I think Kambosos lasts till the mid rounds and gets stopped.

              Exactly.

If they can get 60,000 people in a stadium in Australia then that is a lot of revenue.

Kambosos is good but lacks the pop to trouble Lopez.

This fight makes sense, a 50,000+ stadium fight against a solid but safe contender for a good payday.
No reason for Lopez to say no to this.

Lopez ko him by round 4. If teo predicts a round in press buildup, I'm betting on that round.
