Crawford has not fought a single top 5 WW since he moved to WW.

There’s Spence, Porter, Garcia, Thurman lurking yet he continues to fight washed up guys.
Meanwhile, he’s supposed to be the # 1 P4P fighter in the world.
    Get it?
Horn was actuaĺly ranked in the top five when Crawford fought. Horn had alsob beaten the man and therefore was the man to beat.

Finally, Horn actually called out every single one of the pbc welterweights repeatedly but none of them repied, even Spence.

The devil is in the details of course and Arum wouldn’t have allowed those fights to happen anyway but those are the facts.

Crawford doesn't want to be great. He is another Danny Garcia to me. Defeating only gatekeepers while making a lot of money doing it in the process. He has already turned down offers from both Thurman and Porter this year.
Porter did not make an offer, but has stated only that he is open to making the fight.

      Thurman overpriced himself, as expected.

No truly objective person believes Thurman actually wants the fight, but also no truly objective person believes Arum would make it anyway.

Then again you can begin a long drawn out litigation process that carries you to the date of the contract expiring, thus executing your intended plan.

Either way, bad move by Bud.
Those dumbass youtubers who interviewed him were trying to provoke him. The guy has tried everything to avoid making statements but those idiots kept on pushing and pushing him to make him more emotional and they showed another quote I’m not even sure if it’s true. That led Bud to speak those lines.

If there’s someone to blame ruining him, blame those youtubers

I like Crawford alot as a fighter and he needs to get away from Arum asap and hopefully that leads to better fights.

Crawford wants Pacquiao to get a payday. Arum wants him to fight Spence.

Crawford wants to chase that money and not the glory. I don't blame Arum for being frustrated with that ungrateful chump.

I lay the blame squarely at PBC's feet for the stagnation and strangulation of Crawford's options at 147.

The truth as I see it is the big boys at 147 with PBC don't want to risk or rather their broker Al Haymon doesn't want to mess with the current arrangement.

I'm not sure how he profits from having fighters in his stable fight at a minimum, in mismatches; but he seems to make it work.

The guy needs to go bad. He's worse than Don King, and that's saying something.

At least Don King knew about boxing, whereas for Haymon it's simply a money-making enterprise, that's all.

Of course Arum is a typical outspoken #$& who appears to be losing the filter between his mouth and brain more frequently.

It's funny he mentioned Mayweather, as Jr was once promoted by Arum, but exited the contract over disputes.

What else can Crawford do FFS? resort to gutter trash talk? maybe that's not his style - and besides he's right - it's Arum's job (as hard as that might be) to try and negotiate fights with titlists from PBC. All he has to do is convince Haymon that he'll make bank and that ought to be enough.

It's sad, frustrating and disappointing to watch a P4P fighter marinate away in a division packed with mouth-watering match-up's.
I bet once he turns 35 they'll come knocking.

What is Crawford supposed to do to gain some power, choice and freedom in his career. He can sign with PBC or with Matchroom, or Golden Boy.

PBC is a semi-retirement take the slow road option, Matchroom and DAZN are still struggling to gain a foothold in the states, though IMO they have the most credibility of the lot.
