Love him or hate him, Arum couldn’t really win as Crawford’s promoter. PBC has all the WWs and we all knew Crawford wouldn’t get the real fights at 147 so its harder to emotionally invest in his career as a fan when you know there wont be any intriguing fights on the horizion.

I honestly don't agree with the Pac ducking narrative.

The are two things I know with CERTAINTY.

1. Pac asked for a 20 million guarantee for the fight and Arum refused, so Pac left top rank.

2. I vividly remember watching a post fight interview of Crawford where he said Manny has to come down to 140 to fight him or no fight.

It sounds like Bob was throwing some very subtle and subliminal racist shade at Crawford. In other words, Bob is saying unless Terence can get the white mainstream, crossover audience to notice him then he will never be a pay per view star or get the kind of money that he feels he deserves. He never said that about Loma. It just goes to show that when an American fighter is black; The bar is set much higher for him no matter how good he is in the ring.
