I'm not even arguing for Wilder, I am curious how you placed the unified, Joshua KO'ing, Ruiz, who has consistently fought top tens that are consistently still top tens long after he fights them, under, a guy who doesn't fight fighters while they're doing well and has never won a title fight? Based on resume.

That Joshua win trumps everything Pov's ever done and then some. Pov's wins are more akin to Andy's W over Dimitrenko.

    Ruiz >>> Pov
Well, Whyte was a legit 3 when Pov sparked him. And he should have beaten Hunter if they’d count the obvious KD. Also, his resume is robust and consistent with only 2 losses to an ATG that cheated to victory and a confirmed future HoFer.

Ruiz beat a 50% AJ by being lucky to land a perfect punch in a perfect place against a guy that shouldn’t even be in the ring in the first place. Yes, he’s high because he won those belt but he doesn’t have Povetkin’s resume.

I'm not arguing, just asking for clarification:

How do you justify Pov's resume as legit or robust?

I'm very specifically saying he's got a **** resume especially if you're going to pick and choose who is a legit top ten. Go through his resume, check those dates, and tell me those guys he fought were legit top tens when he fought them because I think if you look you'll realize he's kinda a low win for Josh. Joshua has much better, Ruiz is one of them.

Example, Hughie is a legit top ten but by 2019 he damn sure isn't. Pov fought him in 2019, do you credit that as a legit top ten win?

Wilder can't take a punch and almost all the top contenders punch harder than Fury or anyone Wilder has fought. So why do you think he'll land before they do? The guy gets hurt by slow check hooks for fccck sake.

I need to see him beat Whyte or Ruiz or Hunter before I can put him in the top 5.
Defaq you on about? You need bones to bleed now? Lol, yeah sure

This is where I let you argue with yourself.

Goodluck, I'll be getting the popcorn ready in the meantime

He’s drew , almost beat - fury ; followed by a loss against him. He’s still top5 as I would back him vs all but fury Joshua and usyk - and I wouldn’t rule him out in any of those either

not sure exactly but probably somewhere between 10th and 15th, dont think hes beaten a fighter in current top 10 on boxrec and just got beaten like a child, dont usually see fights that one sided at the top level

He's still in the top three, even if he is in the bottom end of it. Even though he's currently working hard to embarrass himself and destroy his own reputation, I still see no reason to believe why he wouldn't easily beat anyone not named Joshua or Fury right now.

However, with his current shenanigans and how delusional he sounds based on his new interview where he refused to acknowledge the fact that his eardrum was busted and attributed the bleeding to scratches caused by the nails - he has been moved to 15.

I had him at 2 and now at 3. But never considered him the second best heavyweight. I don't consider him the third best heavyweight now.

It's rankings. They're not a measure of how good the fighter is or even a measure of their overall career. It's a point in time taking into account ups and downs from fight to fight.

If, as I suspect, his career is done then he's nowhere in the rankings very soon.
