I thought it was about building the brand, creating the box office star,,,, I dont think the pay is what the story is really about.

Building the brand is fighting the top guys and get him out into the public, interviews, dancing with the stars, seen at all the big sporting events, market the guy, if he doesnt speak write or have that charm have him professionally tutored, there is millions involved yet its like they are amateur's in the entertainment fields.

The fighter fights who Arum gets so Bob should organize and promote the rest.

And at 34 I doubt he would leave his roots to move to vegas and starts doing interviews with everyone, putting his face on talkshows, aligning himself with the youths etc

He is just a normal person who happens to be a boxer, and he is signed to a promoter who admit he doesn’t know how to promote black boxers to the youth. This was a man who had Floyd Mayweather when he was the P4P best boxer in the world under his stable, and he couldn’t promote him to the hip hop world when Mayweather was asking him to.

So for me Bud is fine with his guaranteed money, if he goes to PBC he would have more boxers there but he would probably earn less, unless he goes it alone as a free agent and work with whomever he wants.

UFC is not a problem for boxing fans, I can enjoy now boxing fights + UFC cards.

MMA is an adversary to the business part of boxing wich is a sht show marinate this, marinate that, franchise belts.

Boxing fighters have been doing money than ever, they got millions after 2/3 titles fights.
So I have no problem with UFC.
