And this pos White is right. I’ve been saying for years that anyone who signs with Arum is a fool. At this point it’s just ******ity. DLH, Garcia and Mayweather all left. It’s the job of the promoter to make their fighter a star. Chavez was a star and didn’t even speak English publicly in amerika. Tito as well. Don king did his job. It’s 80% Arums fault and 20% Crawford fir fighting twice a year and fighting bums. As I’ve stated before, you had the 2 top fighters in the world under contract and NEITHER are superstars. How is this possible?

All promoters are mostly scummy in the end. They're like the car dealership middle man. If only the fighter could do it all himself, remove that middle man and take in every single dollar for themselves. That would be ideal but promoters have been around forever and it's the world boxing lives in with them.

Roy tried it and had some success. Mayweather and DLH did it. But it is the job of the promoter to build up opponents fir you. That is where Arum fails. He should have had enough talent in his stable that he was building up to put Crawford over WWE-style. Don king built up hoppy for years only to let Tito destroy him in 5. That’s the reason we never got to see Holmes or Hopkins vs hoppy because there was the chance he could lose(and he would have) and I’m not sure Tito could have beat Holmes as easily if at all.

I'm not sure what White understood out of this, but I interpreted Bob's comments as his concern over Bud's lack of personality or effort to promote himself. I don't disagree with this - he's a bit boring and not very charismatic outside the ring. Compare him to Usyk, for example, who doesn't even speak English - clearly a more marketable personality.

I agree with Dana and many others that have come out against Arum since he made those comments. And its funny that Arum mentioned Floyd in his comments because Floyd just said the other day, Haymon paid $750,000 to get him free from the contract with Arum when he was “Pretty Boy Floyd.” He then changed his persona to “Money Mayweather” before the Oscar fight and starting promoting himself and that persona. Manny promoted himself through his electrifying fighting style and performances and who he was as a person but he couldn’t speak clear English sentences at interviews and press conferences and promotions, LOL! Lopez has the persona and swagger but it’s his style that packs the seats and obtains the viewing audiences similar to Tank. Shakur, please, he does next to nothing to promote himself verbally at promotional events or with his persona but his fighting ability and background pedigree promotes him. People want to see how he can grow as he goes along being a young fighter. Sour g****s Grump Bob!

bob and top rank did more for crawford that what they got from him. that's the truth, arum has all the right in the world to say what he wants since crawford started saying that maybe the brook fight was his last with the company.

If Dana White is serious about promoting boxing he should buy Top Rank because it would take years for him to sign the quality of boxers top rank already has.
