That's a bunch of bull. He puts Andrade's name out there all the time even when they had all 4 belts on DAZN for undisputed. And we all knew wasn't going to fight Andrade. So Andrade will spend thousands on a camp for an usual Canelo bluff?

Andrade never said Canelo ducked him for “undisputed.” Also The Athletic reported that they never approved Andrade to begin with, nor would Undisputed have been a “premier fight!” Lol.

No excuse giving an opponent only 3 weeks to show up for an overseas fight where he loses 1-2 days to travel and 1-2 days to jetlag.

If Canelo is such a hero move the fight up a month. But he won't; he'll continue to disadvantage his opponents.

Very solid fight. Honestly was expecting a lower ranked opponent. Smith is one of the top 3 either way you slice it at 168 so I can't complain.I favor Canelo but Callum Smith is an opponent who I fully expect to show up to win.

It sucks that there is only a 3 week notice for Smith but I have a feeling he knew about the matchup weeks prior before official announcement.

he went to 175 only for one fight and made it very clear, never claimed to be the best at the weight, he even vacated right away, he is fighting a champion at 168 next and plans to stay there for a while to fight the other champs, already made offers to plant and bjs...
again, neither of those(bivol - betervieb) are considered a better fighter than canelo, they are just bigger, thats it..

Canelo wants to fight this year.

Callum Smith's name has been thrown around all of 2020 as a possible opponent for him. So Smith should have stayed ready in case the call did come.

If he feels there's not enough time then he and his promoter should step aside and let someone else take the opportunity.

That's what Saunders and Plant did and I applaud them. Let someone else be Canelos' biatch.

I think this is a good fight; don't get me wrong. But I'm real tired of Canelo taking advantage of every possible angle. Short training times, forcing international flights (why doesn't Canelo go to Europe for this fight and let him get jet lagged), and we all know it's impossible for an opponent to win a decision in Las Vegas.
