If Spence beats Garcia then it the find that has to happen. If not I might permanently switch to watching UFC
Crawford to 154 please

I don't think its entirely Crawford's fault. If there is too much politics at 147 (by virtue of Crawford literally choosing to not fight anyone, I add). How in the world is he going to fight Charlo?
Maybe he'll take that one free belt. But if he won't fight any of the top guys at 147, how in the world do we expect him to fight Charlo at 154?
Notice that only the guys with losses from the PBC side are calling out Crawford.
Thurman didn't even mention Crawford until he lost to Manny, Porter was friends with Crawford until he lost to Spence, if Garcia loses to Spence expect him to start shouting out Crawford's name.
They only want him when they have everything to gain and nothing to lose, and in Keith Thurman's case he doesn't even actually want him he just trying to get clout off of his name.
Spence is the only that has been talking about the Crawford fight but even then he wants to clean out his side of the street before doing that.
Personally I understand its the business. PBC can make lots of money just letting those guys on their side eliminate each other until there is only one champion from their side. They don't need Crawford especially since they will have to split revenue with Top Rank and ESPN.
From Spence's perspective its a no brainer. Spence has always maintained that he wants to be undisputed and because of that he and Crawford are gonna have to see each other.
Its a matter of how soon can he get the remaining belt on the PBC side which is Pac's belt.
Soon as he gets that there will only be one belt remaining and hopefully by then he will have enough clout to make it a profitable venture for the men in suits.
I hear alot of people saying they hope Crawford crosses the street but understand that Arum and Warren control that belt, not PBC. PBC controls the WBC, WBA, and the IBF.
If Crawford comes over to pbc he might lose that belt outside of the ring before he faces Spence.
Then we will never have an undisputed welter, smh.
Also, I understand that the Crawford v Spence fight has been hyped up since before Spence even fought Brook and Bud was still at 140.
Heck it was before Bud even unified with Indongo when Max Kellerman, out of the blue, asked Crawford about moving up and fighting Spence.
I was shocked AF because it was so random, but that's how this whole thing started.
Before Bud even unified 140, before Spence had even proven himself in a title match. Just imagine.
Bud had rhe championship experience at the time and would have had the advantage in my book.
But Errol Spence is a sword that is being forged in an inferno with fights against prime Brook, Porter, and the Garcias (provided he beats the Danny on the fifth)
I think he will have closed the experience gap enough at that point that there will be no experience advantage on either side. The fight will be ripe for the making.Comment

Crawford isnt even a natural welterweight. Belongs at 140, maybe 135. Hes just damn good. Him and Mikey Garcia at 140 would be a great fight.Comment

But Crawford can't (I guess he has and is- however) just sit there and twiddle his thumbs.
I know a lot is down to Arum and splitting money but I can't believe that Mikey, Ugas etc. wouldn't fight Crawford just because of Arum.
They may have nothing to lose at the point of fighting Crawford but it's still highlights on Crawford. Specially if he were to undo them more impressively than Spence or Pac.
You do make good points though and it highlights much of the politics at 147.
But I don't think that change by moving to 154. Charlo is the main man and that's not going to be any easier of a negotiation in my opinion.
He's the clear A side at 154 and I can't imagine him taking 50-50 just because Crawford has mystique.
I just wish Crawford would've taken on Porter, Mikey, etc. It would've given him more to stand on at 147.
I think Spence-Crawford will get held up by money negotiations. Specially if Spence does complete his gauntlet: beat Garcia, take Pacquiao's belt. Because it leaves no leverage for Crawford objectively.Comment
