Fighting old legend when you are in your prime is lame. Lose -lose situation. You get no credit if you win. You are trashed if you lose.

How much credit got Pacquiao for beating 35 old ( not 42!!) de la Hoya? How much credit got Holmes and Berbick for beating old Ali? How much credit got Marciano for beating old Louis?

Beating old legend means nothing. Crawford must go through the fire to gain legacy. He must fight and beat other top prime guys.
