I.e The notion you have to beat the reigning champion by a wide margin to take his belt for no reason what so ever.
I get it to a degree, as I've always thought that a tie round should go to the champ (I dont believe in 10-10 rounds) but I don't think you need to win 11-1 to take the title, just 7 good rounds.
Marinating. I ****ing hate marinating. I see "fans" on social media talking about fights like Garcia/Haney or Davis/Garcia and they're saying "naw, too soon. That needs to marinate for a few years"

A tie/draw does go to the Champion.
All you need to do to “take the belt from the Champion” is beat him. Whether it’s by 1 point of 20.
