      I gotta go with Pep.

He fought a ton of Hall of Famers & killers.

Floyd's the most versatile defensive fighter, though, but he didn't fight anybody like Sandy Saddler in his prime, so we don't know how he would've done with the guys that Pep & Whitaker fought in their primes.

Its shame more people don't know about Locche.

Yeah, it's hard to argue against Pep. He may be the best of all time, period.

Good points. Didn’t think of it that way.

Who would you say was the best fighter Floyd negated? Canelo?

Well, looking back at it, that win is looking better & better.

Maybe, his performance in the 2nd half of the Zab Judah fight where he lost early rounds, but completely took the guy out of the fight in the 2nd half

Pep, Floyd, Pernell in no particular order. All of them were special and a joy to watch...what they could do was unique and, clearly, not repeatable

I was a kid in the 80s and 90s, so I'm a little bias towards Whitaker. He's my choice. Watching him fight was like watching a matador against a bull.

Duran and Floyd were better all around fighters than Sweet Pea, but Whitaker was more athletic and had ridiculously quick reflexes. His defense was a joy to watch, he really was the textbook definition of "slick."
