  • BREAKING: Bob Arum EXPOSES Crawford!

Damn. There it is. Plain as day.

It's not Arum blocking the fight.

It's not Haymon blocking the fight.

It's not Shawn blocking the fight.

First some history, down memory lane. Multiple posts.

Crawford went on DAZN and ducked Porter. NSB said "no he didn't, Porter doesn't want it!!!"

But Porter said Crawford wasn't being ducked, nobody tried to make a fight with the PBC guys.

So Porter straight up said he called and asked. Crawford told him to "wait".

Crawford releases an interview saying "AIN'T NOTHING I CAN DO!!", that nobody wants to fight him.

This is after he declined Thurman and Porter.

Porter recently said he wants Crawford, NOT Spence, next if offered.

Well, today/yesterday, Bob Arum outed him.

Crawford (And likely because of BoMac) is the sole reason the Porter fight hasn't happened and won't happen.

He doesn't want to fight Shawn, people. He doesn't want it.

That's called ducking, when your promoter says a fight can happen, the other promoter says the fight can happen (Kenny Porter reported that), and the other fighter says they want it, yet you the fighter still refuse.

My only question is when was that video of Crawford saying that?

If it was only a few weeks after Showtime lost to Errol, then it makes perfect sense.

If I am Crawford, why would I be a rebound fight for a fighter who just lost to another champ in the same division I am in?

Showtime would have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Crawford would have everything to lose, especially if he didn't beat Porter as convincingly as Errol did.

              damn. bad look for Crawfish.

Porter is a nightmare for anybody. Bud will have to go to war.

Additionally, if you're trying to get in the ring with the other champions (the ones who actually have belts, i.e. Pacquiao and Spence), why fight Porter who is strapless?

I know the first thing you're going to say is, "Why fight Benavidez and Mean Machine, who are also strapless?"

My reply is: if the other belts are across the street and your goal is to get them... Once you actually cross the street, why waste time with someone who doesn't have one?

                  I agree with Timothy Bradley.

Even if Crawford goes to PBC, it would be a long time before the EJ fight happens.

There are too many fighters in the PBC stable, who have been loyal and waiting their turn for a big fight (especially with the COVID delays) for Haymon to just acquire a Bud and put him in there with EJ.

Pacquiao signed with Haymon, because he wanted Floyd.

Instead, he got a Thurman coming off an injury and a belt.

DAZN video was in December, immediately after this happened:

Now, we have to look at performance overall, not just outcome.

Shawn Porter took the true #1 guy at Welterweight to his limit and almost beat him. He came out of that fight looking like a superstar as a result.

Crawford got hurt more than he ever has. He came out of that fight looking vulnerable.

My next post will give you more history to chew on.
