Is it a decline or is his defense just not as good as we think?
He shifted and stopped that great jab, then he took over. He’s a little too fearless but that’s what I like about him.

      Yes you do.

Both get outboxed for at least four rounds

Both lose their cool and throw for knockouts

Both manage to pull it out after clearly losing on points

Fans of both ignore the poor defense and quality of opposition and just point to the outcome

Fans deny both ducked their biggest threats

      Perfect parallels.

He stopped the jab, but then started getting hit with a straight right

I’m not going to argue that he didn’t get hit by the straight right but that right wasn’t near as effective as Brooks jab. The rhythm shifted to Crawford’s favor once Kiel’s jab was taken away.

Are people actually complaining about Bud’s defense?

It reminded me of people complaining about Haney not stopping an opponent!

An aggressive fighter puncher like bud gets hit few before he destroys them, who would have thought its 12 rd championship boxing and fighters get hit, even Mayweather got hit, this is elite boxing.

Crawford always looks like he has gears, I still don't think I've seen him fight flat out.

Exactly, Bud is just pure entertainment, I mean what more could you want from a fighter!

Loves to fight, goes for the kill and can also box!

Hopefully he leaves Top Rank an goes over to PBC so we can see him with the best of 147

So he got outlanded early, switched stance and dominated behind his right hand.

                    Not a bad night's work.

The key is him having the ability to adjust, and not many have that.

First three rounds mean squat unless they are a wash
