Crawford's Defense, lets talk about it. Two fights in a row getting Out Landed Early

Brook was landing his Jab flush, over and over. Crawford than switched stances and Brook was even able to start landing some straight rights.. started to swell and bust his eye.

Is it a decline or is his defense just not as good as we think?

I was just about to make this thread, seriously. Crawford is a good boxer but he is not hard to hit. Terence Crawford has never been hard to hit.

I really feel Crawford knew he would hurt him with the first clean shot he landed. Based his strategy around that, I thought he looked bad until I realized he didn’t care about points, was just walking him down to get brook out of there

He is vastly overrated and over hyped. His skills are too. Some of us have been saying it for a while.

No way, he was coming forward but not recklessly. He was trying to stay long and out box him, but was getting tagged.

            Crawford defense isn’t that good

Plus his strategy is to go for the kill

He is really an aggressive boxer-puncher and he has gone even more towards the puncher aspect lately so he is getting touched more. He's never been a Floyd as far as reflexes and athleticism go so there's that.

He had some scary moments against Kavaliauskas.

He is Hearns type fighter. He goes for kill. But Hearns was also "killed" sometimes , when he faced top opposition.

His defense against capable opponents has never been great. He took a lot of flush shots from Gamboa and even Beltran did some decent work against him. And of course we saw the last two fights.

However, every single fight he is able to turn it up and just overwhelm his opponent. He adjusts well and flat out just starts getting more aggressive and controlling the distance. He's a bad a$$ fighter period.
