I know Teo is balking at the rematch now but hopefully Arum can sweeten the pot enough to make him reconsider.
There's this scene in Raging Bull where Jake is punching the walls in his jail cell crying ''Whywhywhy''

Loma probably did the same thing when he got home

''Whywhywhy did I wait until the 7th rd ?''

I'm curious to see who Teo takes on next. A legit opponent or a bum

I hope so too. I think he should take the Haney fight next.

Based on what I saw against Gamboa, Haney is a very beatable opponent.

Only thing Haney did very well was use the jab. His right hand was garbage and so were his left hooks.

He also didn't do enough body work except for the stiff jab to the body.

Teo can definitely win that fight if he takes it next.

I also notice Haney tends to flail his arms when he throws combo. Horrid punching technique.

Of course it was his first fight back from a long lay off and shoulder surgery, generally those kind of lay offs are more damaging to developing fighters like Haney than established fighters because developing fighters need consistency and continuity in order to continue to develop, but even saying that, that was a poor performance despite the shutout nature of the fight in an overall context.

Teo should fight Haney and remove the asterisk on his undisputed status, and then give either Davis or Garcia a deadline to make the fight or he is gonna move up.

It’s funny you mention Lopez-Haney because Teo’s “email champion” comments alone add intrigue to the matchup. As for the fight itself, I think Haney is the type of fighter who needs a threat in front of him to truly shine.

I understand the critiques about his technique, however I also think that pure boxers tend to look ordinary against overmatched opponents whereas punchers look amazing because of the fireworks.

Either way, I like the matchup next as well

Indeed, and perhaps he edges it if he starts even two rounds earlier

As experienced as Loma is, he should have known better.

Teo fans will say Loma would get KTFO if he fought earlier
I say, as a fan of both guys, Teo had plenty of opportunities.
He was satisfied with not pushing the issue.
Won rds because of Loma not doing anything. Easy fight.

Teo needs to learn the art of silence

Teo talks much but he backs it up in the ring. Both Haney and Garcia are not there yet. They need to conquer top opponents at 135. As for Davis, l think he should focus at 130 and become undisputed.

makes no sense but he's getting paid good.
Yer with all the back n forth between Tank Garcia Haney and Lopez casuals would assume that one of the three will fight each other but imo Lopez fights George , Haney gets the Campbell/Garcia winner and who knows what is next for Tank, probably another mexican or a Rican on a mexican holiday.

                      Teo should re-match Loma.
Easy fight to make, Excellent money for Lopez being the A-side and to put doubters to rest.
                      Lopez/Loma 2.
                      LETS GET IT.
