I don't think there is a guarantee of that happening, especially if Crawford doesn't sign an extension. If I am his team, I DEFINITELY threaten to leave if they don't get him that fight next.

The independence route is interesting. I was hoping Canelo would do that and he is, but he's the cash cow and able to pull it off. Can Crawford do the same? If he can, that would be awesome. Can get the winner of Taylor/Ramirez and then potentially Spence. But do you see Arum giving him the winner of Taylor/Ramirez without him signing an extension? That's hard to see.

Spence and Pacman are two big fights that would sell themselves. I don’t think he needs to sign to a promoter long term to get them done.

He can get MTK to that for him at advisory level since they seem to have good relations with all the boxing promoters from PBC, to Hearn, to Golden Boy and to Arum.

The winner of Taylor and Ramirez isn’t a big money fight. It’s more of a legacy fight. He’s better off fighting Mikey Garcia than that fight.
