Why does everytime one of the Brits fights an American, they always compare it to Lacy-Calzaghe? None of those Brits compared have ever been anywhere as good as Calzaghe and none of the Americans compared have ever been near as bad and overrated as Lacy. They needa let that nonsense go. It's like it's hung onto for some sense of superiority over Americans. That ish lame af. Like both guys, but Crawford gonna do a job on Brook. Simple as that.

It’s an inferiority complex so many British lower class males, sports fans, have with America. And it tends to be English (Calzaghe is Welsh) more so than the Scots, Ulstermen, and the Welsh. It’s just as simple as that, an inferiority complex. Ha ha ha!!! Not just that. Most Brits believe that Calzaghe reached the zenith of boxing by beating Roy Jones - a long decrepit shadow of his old self. Mits the same reason they value Khan’s win over Zab.
To the Brits, conquering the US is always a big deal.

That said, I’m rooting for Brook to upset Crawford. Not because I like him but just because Crawford has turned into a cherry picking version of PAC

A shocking loss will pretty much end his career. Even if he were to win the rematch. There is no justification of any kind at 33 years of age for Crawford’s resume to look as tattered as it does.

I don't think obviously there is any comparison in Brook Crawford. I'd be surprised if you can find even "a Brit" fan who makes Brook favourite or anywhere close to even in this fight.

Calzaghes best and only relevant win is a prime kessler and is he really that great to begin with

Kessler was seen as his top challenger at the time and Calzaghe beat him clean. That's really all you can ask for from the consensus #1 guy, to beat the consensus #2 guy decisively.
