Yea, and common sense dictates this is a 50-50 fight at best for tank money wise. It’s a moot point though, cuz his team has made their intentions clear, and it’s certainly not to fight the best in high risk matchups. Stand by for another smaller fighter and proclamations of being the best afterwards.

He could stay at 130. I think they were attaching tank’s name to Lopez name cuz he had buzz from beating loma. It was right after the loma fight that Floyd mentioned tank needing another fight before facing Lopez. Might as well capitalize on it where they can, but I doubt the intention is there. I think you’re spot on with Gary Russell, and throw joe Diaz in there too.Comment

FACT: if Lopez pulls the A-side stunt, and the fight falls over... ... then he ducked Tank
same with Tank

In relation to what I said that you keep cutting and pasting...Lopez has proven he’s the best by going out and beating the best. Tank has yet to do so. If he was interested in doing that, he wouldn’t be letting his people preemptively price him out. Lopez has the luxury of saying he’s the top dog and meaning it, tank’s people are just blowing smoke.Comment

So I guess they’re ducking each other? It was Floyd who introduced the subject of “A side” into the potential matchup. Lopez also has to be realistic, but it’s kind of a non starter when Floyd says tank has to be the A side to do the fight.

not only has Tank fought on PPV, and Teo has not... the green kid only just stepped onto the world stage LMAO... NOBODY in the street would know his name
you do know I said Tank would be a bltch if he prices himself out as well, right? ... and that I MUCH prefer Teo

If you don’t agree with tank pricing himself out, then why do you spazz when I say it? Not sure why you felt the need to go on the offensive here.
Lopez is what we should want from fighters, tank is an example of what we could do without. This could all turn on a dime of course, but right now I gotta give props to the guy who’s doing it right...not so much for smoke and mirrors Davis.
I’m interested in the best fighting the best...be happy with counting another man’s revenue if that’s what does it for you. Hell, you don’t even need to watch the fights to do that.Comment

Lol that sure escalated.

I just got tired of you failing to keep it real... AGAIN !!
and, all you said in the post above is... I like Teo, and I don't like Tank
that is literally all you said there
I am not having a "my guy" discussion... YOU are
that is the difference here
that is why you said... "Boxing was simpler when fighters actually wanted to prove they were the best"... AFTER ... a green kid with 16 fights under his belt, who does not generate any revenue... pulled the "A-side" stunt LMAO
this new favorite-fighter of yours... couldn't you at least wait until his 17th fight before you let him run around talking like a diva?
FACT: a unknown kid does NOT want to "prove that he is the best"... if he runs around calling himself the A-side, and that silly position prevents fights from getting made
FACT: if that fight does not happen because Teo thinks that he is the A-side... then he ducked Tank... and I think that Tank is a bit of a shlthead tbh... I like Teo MUCH better
do you get that? ... Teo is a phenom, and Tank is a shlthead... imho... personality-wise, I mean... which tbh, does not interest me at all... I don't care about that stuff in boxing, I have supported ****heads over the years simply because I like how they fight
Mayweather is a great example of that
but, as usual... I keep it real, and you do not
ALWAYS remember... to be the " A-side " you must...
1) have at least 17 fights under your belt (LMFAO)
2) at least 1 US citizen who does not follow boxing must have heard your name before...
3) you must be able to pay for a night out, without asking your dad for money looooooool
FACT: it is absurd for a green kid who only just stepped onto the world stage... to pull that ridiculous A-side garbage...
if you force me to have that ridiculous "A-side" conversation... then the A-side in that matchup is CLEARLY Tank... NO QUESTION about that
try keeping it real for once... even though you love Teo
I'm out of this discussion... you can run around thinking whatever you want

All I said was it was Floyd that started talking A side first...what do you expect a unified champion to say, “yea I’m the B side to a guy who’s done nothing in my division”?
Teo is a better example of what fighters should be rewarded for doing, plain and simple. I like tank as a fighter, maybe more than Lopez, but the smoke and mirrors campaign force feeding us ppvs, I’m not behind. He’s not a “star” just cuz they say he is.
What I said before about fighters wanting to prove they’re the best was about making the necessary sacrifice to get a title shot, and that obviously doesn’t apply to tank. Their business model doesn’t put emphasis on beating good opponents, it’s about selling mediocre fights as big fights and fawning over him afterwards.Comment
