In my casual observance of Suliaman since he took over WBC after his pop croaked... he's shown he doesn't care what anybody says about his meal ticket. So I don't expect him to start doing so anytime soon. It's just an obvious racket with him... so usually I just ignore the goofball with his special belts and other gaudy low classed b.s.

It is ridiculous. Who wants to be Bridgerweight champion it has no history, no glamour......people like Povetkin for example would still want to continue fighting the big boys at heavyweight, he wouldnt wanna fight in this new division. Fighters around this weight want the BIG prize, the glamour division ....the heavyweight championship of the world, it has history, it has meaning and is the biggest prize out there.

I wish they'd make make cruiserweight 190 and then a division of
190-210 or something.

I think it's down to the fighters and promoters to boycott it for the overall health of the sport. It may happen to some degree because the teams have to pay sanctioning fees and stuff. It'll probably stick though because generally speaking people put success above everything else, so someone will take the bait and become bridgerweight champ.
