Right! PBC already has a PPV on Dec 5th and maybe another possible PPV with Fury Wilder in the very near future. Caleb Plant is a CHAMP not a CHUMP and wont be rushed into a fight by Canelo. But this is a smart move by Canelo if its only a one fight deal. Al Haymon probably advised him to do the fight on DAZN and take that WBA strap from them. This will give Al time to get his 2021 schedule together. Then come over to PBC and fight Yildirim for the WBC strap so he can definitely be the A side going into a unification scrap with Plant in the fall. Then 2022 is Benevediez and Charlo. Those are all huge PPV fights. PBC's 2021 PPV schedule could give us two Canelo fights, Pac vs Mikey, Spence vs Crawford (if he defects to PBC), Spence vs Pac, Gervontae vs Ryan, a Charlo doubleheader with Jermell finally facing Hurd and its unclear what the situation with Deontay is. It is still mindboggling why DA-ZASTER wants to throw away millions for one fight when it is clear that Canelo's focus in the future will be PPV with the PBC roster.

Not it's not, Ryder whooped Smith's ass and was robbed. At least Plant presents stylistic problems.

Not a terrible fight, Smith is still a top guy, but Canelo would destroy his big goofy ass.

I would rather he fight Benavidez or Plant but Smith isn't bad. He has enough size & length to bother AlvaRoid. Hopefully, Callum learned from his mistakes against Ryder & gives AlvaRoid a decent challenge. At least it's not BJS.

A lot of us agree that Ryder beat Smith but let's stop acting like Canelo fights anything like him. Just because Ryder had the success he did, doesn't mean Saul will, even though I'd favor him over Smith.
