Yep, and wasn't happening with the Spence/DSG PPV two weeks prior. If Canelo badly wanted a fight before years end, then that is his right. This is a solid match up vs Smith and he can fight Plant or Charlo in May of 2021.

I stated previously during the litigation, I wouldn't rule out Canelo operating on DAZN again (specifically Matchroom). I got the vibe his beef was more with GBP and being locked into the long term contract without being captain of his ship.

If there was acrimony with DAZN, makes sense to move past it and do business...it greatly increases the amount of options and ability to leverage promotions and broadcasts.
