And it's not a conspiracy when GBP was the one who was trying to play the middleman untruthfully between Canelo & DAZN.

GBP was the main problem from most accounts. Telling DAZN they pick opponents & telling Canelo the same thing. Honestly it's surprising this house of cards situation went as many fights as it did.
If it was all about Canelo why are they still continuing their partnership? GBP has assets that DAZN deems valuable. We all know who they are.

From all accounts GBP never promised any specific fight and has only pushed for premium level opponents. They never ruled out any top opponents. The problem here is DAZN not approving BJS or Callum Smith in part by refusing to honor their contract.

DAZN wanted Canelo to fight either GGG(he chose to fight a polish plumber instead), Masvidal, or ODLH. Yet here you are telling us GBP is to blame.

DAZN wouldn't approve opponents for Canelo...which pissed Canelo off and caused him to end his relationship with GBP...and now DAZN is approving the same opponents it refused before and is in negotiations with Canelo.

They just straight up stole him from Oscar (if the Callum Smith fight goes through.)
Definitely suspect if they end up approving Callum Smith now for the 35m. We'll have to wait and see what the financial offer looks like to pass further judgement.

Maybe Canelo is willing to take less for this single fight before he moves on to PPV with the PBC.

Canelo no longer wanted to be part of GBP and no longer wanted to be held down to a long term contract. He said it wasn't about the money (in the Lawsuit) and I imagine it's not entirely about the revenue of any particular fight.

If he fights on a PBC broadcast (or elsewhere), I imagine it will be a fight by fight basis. I could see him fighting on ESPN (PPV most likely), PBC (again PPV) and occasionally on DAZN in the future.

Sure GBP has value. But they got the initial deal off of Canelo's name. And it sounds like they had to redo their deal to stay with DAZN.

GBP is likely to blame. They were playing both sides. They told DAZN they were the boss & told Canelo the same with opponent selection.

And don't get it twisted. I'm not saying DAZN wasn't sh^thouse rat ****** in making Street Jesus a premier opponent, but that's a whole other thing than the legal stuff.

Like I said a few days ago. The only losers here would be and were GBP. DAZN saved themselves money with the Canelo thing last week, Canelo gets to be free and work with whoever he chooses to. Some unknowledge Deontay Wilder fans were here talking about “Court papers”...... Canelo has cut out the middleman, and he can negotiate and work with anyone.

When Canelo asked to see the contract that GBP signed with DAZN and he wasn’t shown it, you would know they have a lot of things to hide.

Canelo would even take less just to get away from GBP. He had a problem with Oscar for at least two years now. He just doesn’t want to be with GBP anymore.
