If Fury decided to take Wilder to court, that means
Fury becomes the accuser. Accusing Wilder of slander
in a court of law. To even have your case heard, you

enough to get off a civil slander case initiated by Fury.

Similar to how OJ Simpson was found not guilty in
his criminal trial, but he was found guilty in his
following civil trial, both over the same crime.

You can't take somebody to court without making a
case and presenting your evidence of wrongdoing.
The onus is on the plantif to present some kind of
evidence before the case will even be heard.

Donald Trump is trying that right now,
and his cases are largely being thrown out of court
