theyve done a great job of spoonfeeding him weak opposition designed to make him look like a 'monster', same thing haymon did with wilder. The only difference is crawford may actually never fight anyone good, he doesnt even pretend hes interested.

Kinda hard to do that without the proper Dancer Partners

I think the hope is for Jose Ramirez to beat Taylor then that is the fight they can build up as a big IN HOUSE FIGHT finally for Crawford

It’s like the boxing industry and networks have never faced up to the reality that Boxing is a small niche sport. Letting fights ‘marinate’ just to lose millions when you sell a few hundred PPVs because those fighters were never built up before with marquee victories just bum after bum. They really think that any second the public Will be deceived and turn them into stars. Sooner or later the penny has to drop.

You could say that about any American boxer regardless of promotional company. Floyd was the last star and that was entirely off of beating de la Hoya almost a decade and a half ago. Nothing short of a Mike Tysonesque physical phenom will become a star from Boxing these days.

Look at this guy, always trying to be so sneaky with it.
At least they aren’t actively, desperately trying to keep it “in-house”. Ramirez unified with guess who. It wasn’t another TR fighter.

Nothing sneaky about it, I think most promoters would love to have big IN HOUSE FIGHTS because it generates more money for them rather than working with another promoter to do Big Fights. Also In House Fights are just easier to make.

It is nothing wrong with doing in house fights especially when you have the ROSTER to do In House fights

Arum mastered In House fights, lets not for get that Welterweight ERA: Pacquiao, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito...back when he had control over 147 so NO it was absolutely NOTHING "Sneaky" about my post it was very f^cking clear

By the way, I think Bud Crawford vs Jose Ramirez can be a big fight and is extremely marketable. It would be the last 2 Unified 140 Fighters going at it. Josh Taylor if he beats Ramirez would also be a big match more so Internationally but still very marketable

A promoter's job is to overhype and sell.

Our job as fans is to stay grounded in reality and keep demanding better fights if they want our attention or our money.

We all know that Top Rank draw out a fighter's career the longest they can, by feeding them carefully selected wins, to rob them of the most money they can, before letting them to the wolves when Top Rank (arum) has milked all they could from the fighter.
