crawford has always been raked p4p because of the eye test, not his resume.
but i have to question the 'eye test' based on his recent performance. he's clearly not top 3.

canelo is also NOT a clear #1. i don't believe he's that much better than the top guys in his wgt class. aside from GGG (which we wont get into, he hasn't fought any others). think he could be beat by top 5 on any given day.
he could have an extra loss on his record, which would have completely changed the way ppl rank him.

His resume is not impressive but the eye test and his skills are top rated to me . even Julio Cesar chavez and Floyd mayweather Jr . say the same .

Undefeated in almost 40 fights, always consistent, no robbery gifts (sorry Canelo), legit champion in 3 divisions, completely unified a division.

Plus everybody else has either lost or should've lost or doesn't have enough fights to be P4P king.

You right. That's a pretty good list of names, it would be hard to top that.

Only ESPN has him #1 and is because he fights on that network.

He has not beaten anybody of note. Canelo is number 1 at the moment.

Why do people act like he didn't do anything before 147?

Exactly...Crawford has some real credentials. Crawford has inarguably won all of his fights, what top fighter out there can say that today.

Unfortunately Bud seems to have an X on his back with fans - Canelo fans and PBC fans hate him for obvious reasons. That's a lot of fans so it shapes the narrative against him.

Why do you put so much weight on a made up fantasy list that is usually riddled with bias...

p4p is ****** and arguing about it is even dumber IMO

It's not a conflict of interest because it's not a real ranking, it's just expert opinion just like The Ring has always been.
