Good question. Probably Kovalev? Although I had GGG beating Canelo in both fights he didn’t get the Ws.

I always felt like Kovalev was more skilled but lacked GGG overall toughness

Resume? Kovalev. Possibly the more destructive offensive fighter too, but he was also always more vulnerable than Golovkin

Kovalev has the better resume IMO but I do think GGG was the better fighter.

I can’t remember off the top who Kovalev beat, Hopkins, Cleverly, Pascal? I didn’t have him winning the first Ward fight. Had it Draw or 1 pt Ward every watch. Golovkin beat Canelo, Jacobs and Derevyanchenko, so I give him resume. He’s also always been the better fighter. Have always said it, Kovalev was bound to get KO’d, Golovkin still a top fighter at 38.

I agree. Kovalev’s skills are underrated and he definitely has a better jab than GG..

At their best, I just trust Kovalev more.

it was always obvious that he was a better fighter... and it was always obvious that he is a REAL fighter, who would take on anyone

that is Golovkin's biggest failure... he wrote cheques with his mouth that he was unwilling to cash with his fists

Kovalev > Hypekin... not even close

if Kovalev was a middleweight, he would not have ducked Charlo, Saunders, Andrade... he would have taken those fights

Pvssykin always took the path of least resistance, which is why he has a poor resume for a career-middleweight and supposed top fighter
