Comments Thread For: Crawford's Wish List: Pacquiao Would Be No. 1; Spence Right After That; Garcia, Thurman

Crawford has had like 10 years to fight the best, Pacquiao on the other hand had a 10 year stretch where he fought pretty much everyone who was somebody, Crawford is nothing like Pacquiao, With Top Rank Pacquiao still managed to fight the best, so the whole it's Top Ranks fault doesn't fly anymore. Crawford has had opportunities to fight better competition and he always goes the other way, he could of easily left Top Rank if he didn't like how things are going. In the end, Crawford is an adult and should take most of the responsibility for his career, enough excuses already, I mean he could of been fighting Porter on Saturday and picked Brook, enough is enough.
Buds contract expires after this next fight.
Hopefully he signs with PBC and gets all the fights he deserves.Comment

They're definitely not forcing him to do anything! WBO is forcing Texieira to face Castano! IBF is forcing Joshua to face Pulev! That's how it should be done! Making people "Franchise" Champions, or having 3 Champions in one weight class without any mandatories is NOT getting it done! I don't fault 42 year old Manny Pacquiao for not unifying vs. Spence or Crawford, especially without the possibility of any real gate money. He should be forced to defend his title, but that's the WBA's job!Comment

Crawford wanted to unify with Spence and Thurman. But Spence would rather defend against a lightweight like Mikey Garcia, and Thurman said Crawford needs to fight better opposition than Horn" even thought Thurman was fighting Josesito Lopez.Comment

Danny style ain't good for a healthy Spence.... But if he effected by that accident that's all DSG to get the upsetComment

Now you sound like a politician. Let’s go with your assertion that Spence and Thurman are trash and useless, how in the world can you suggest Crawford to fight Mikey Garcia??
Is Garcia a natural WW especially after his one sided loss toSpence?
Are there no legit WW that Crawford can go after?Comment

I don't have a problem with either guy saying that. Even though Spence may be higher on the current list of top welterweights, Manny is still relevant, has accomplished more than any other active boxer and could retire any time. If that fight happens, it would more than likely have to be Crawford's next fight after Brook.Comment
