Kell is a great fighter who was misguided by Eddie Hearn. To be allowed to move up two weight divisions to fight a man that few middleweights of the day wanted to speaks volumes for Brooks bollocks .But save Hearns show he did when Eubank Jr. bottled it last minute.Kell fought Spence when he could have swerved but Edward can't be blamed for that as at welterweight as any division it should be the best fighting the best.
Kell is a great British champion and will give Bud a war , expect Kell to be close and bully as he will try and use his strength in close as much as he can.
WHY IS THIS GREAT ,EXCITING MATCHUP NOT ON THE SKY SPORTS NETWORK AND WHERE IS EDDIE HEARN NOW? SKY/EDDIE HAVE THREE FEMALE BOUTS ON INSTEAD!!!!!!!! ...(iI ditched sky years ago).

Ironically, Brook could end up making Spence the pound 4 pound king if he beats Crawford. LOL

Brook just said in an interview Bob (I don't believe in rematch clauses) Arum made him sign a rematch clause ... hilarious.

I mean everyone does it but Bob is just a hypocrite.

Crawford was way better 3.5 year ago.

                  Those are “your eyes”.
Maybe he can beat them BUT until he actually fights them, most people are calling it what it is, A CLEAR DUCKING FROM TOP RANK’s PLAYBOOK.

Crawford is 33 and has not fought a single top 5 WW since he won the belt from Horn.

ive been a massive brook fan since he was with warren, but he has no one to blame for his flop and wasted talent of a career but himself. Lets go back to when he was under Warren, warren worked his usual magic with the wbo and got brook to no.1 position to fight for the then wbo champ tim bradley... brook and his dad didnt want to make the fight... warren got fed up and happily let brook go, he said himself that Brooks dad is far too cautious with the opponents.. and this is coming from warren who is notorious for making mismatches. On to Hearn, after all the niggles with the devon Alexander fight he finally got it together that night vs shawn porter... brilliant night for british boxing and brooks career... it should have been upwards and onwards from there on out instead it was porter who remained at the top flight while Brook made a couple easy defences which was fine, but then refused to accept any big fights... pulled out of a diego chaves fight, refused to fight brandon rios after they was ready and willing to acceot that fight.. rios would go on to get blasted to bits by tim bradley... which would lead to bradley getting the pacman rematch. Fast forward he had a deal in place to face jesse vargas, but wouldnt commit to it, all the while repeatedly begging for a khan fight... him his trainer and dad were offered the ggg fight which according to hearn they accepted within the hour as it came with a massive pay check of £3mil... probz around 6 times brooks biggest pay to date at the time, and hes team was told that he would get to keep his ibf title... the world and there dog knew what level of a beast GGG was... so they knew the risk but accepted the fight... yes it was saving the show but eddie did not have the ultimate say in it... he made the offer and brooks team accepted. Was a destructive career move... absolutely but that was the risk the team willingly took, Came back down to fight Spence, gave Spence all the trouble he could handle, end of 7 boxingscene had it 4-3 brook, and then it would seem the weight drain made brook not have that strength to keep spence off like he did in the 1st half of the fight... came back at 154... looked good against rabchenko, got a wbo eliminator vs zerafa and didnt look good in the win but got the job done... got him the no.1 spot to challenge the then wbo champ jarrett hurd... again brook had no interest in taking the fight.. they again negotiated a fight with jesse vargas for a 2nd time and vargas team accepted... brook wouldnt commit... in his last outing vs deluca, brook looked decent but his timing was well off.. and his timing was his biggest asset the way he could pick his opponents off.. this guy hasnt made 147 for 3 and half years... even when he did last time it showed in the fight that he couldnt do it properly and be 12 round fighting fit... looked for a cash out vs khan, khan didnt want to risk gettin chinned even though brook had very ******ly accepted a 10lb rehydration clause... in a non title bout... but still khan didnt have the bottle to make the fight. Now after all this, brooks ditched his trainer, ditched his promoter and his trainer hes using for this fight is someone he found on instagram... all points to one thing... this is a complete cash out... brook has no hope of winning, and personally i dont think he has a preyer in it... maybe a half decent fight first 3 maybe 4 rounds... after that budd will pick him apart and stop him, i really hope brook lasts the 12 as thatd be a W for him but i doubt he will. Hes in with arguably the best 147 pounder out there.
I strongly doubt brook will fight again after this. Having said all that i cant see how the blame can be put on Hearn for his poor career... hearn pits all his fighters in solid fights... luke cambell for example, been in with loma, linares, and now garcia... doesnt make sense as to why he wouldnt have for brook... unless brook didnt want them. Brooks team made the error going without hearn... why would hearn use sky sports pot to pay for brooks coverage when they turned there back on him?? Makes no sense, they still had bt sport, channel 5 or evn itv to try and get that uk coverage... but instead wanted to try ppv and that fight simply isnt ppv in the uk... not at this stage in there careers. I personally blame brook for his poor career as hes lack of discipline and dedication and commitment to the sport leaves him where he is today. Hes financially secured thats about all he earned from a talent that should have earned him a much higher spot in the welterweight division.
