Would Lomachenko do better in a rematch vs TEO?

Great fight, especially from the winner Teo, both fighters were smart in there, Loma was kinda inactive in the first half of fight, but Teofimo was just bringing a lot to the table, speed, power, accuracy, feints, reach, timing, mind quickness.

I think 7-5 for Teo is the realest, most fair and accurate card so it was IMO a competitive fight, Teo did not dominate and Loma has no case for a win IMO.

But, Loma clearly won the second half of the fight (4 rounds out of 2).

Did Loma figured out Teo or was Teo getting too comfortable, tired or bored?

Everything seems to indicate that a rematch would be all wrong for Loma (Teo is the winner, younger and healthier fighter)
but usually, the fighter who dominated the late part of the first fight do better in a rematch see Fury vs Wilder, Ward vs Kova, Canelo vs GGG...

    What's your point fellas?

Nothing changes, Loma isn’t going to suddenly want to to start exchanging with Teo in the first half. Teo is just as fast and twitchy as loma and Loma wants nothing to do with his power early. And he’s not gonna win boxing from a distance with that reach.

I believe so.... I think he would open up sooner and take more chances.

Problem is.... Lopez gonna be more confident himself.

Loma only won 2 or 3 rounds. After 7 it was 7-0, round 12 was clear, so that's 8-0, Between rounds 8-11 it was very competitive, those rounds could all have went either way, so somewhere between 12-0 Lopez and 8-4 Lopez are the only possible scores. I had it 9-3 or 10-2 I can't remember. Not fussed about seeing it again as it was too one-sided to interest me that much. Maybe if Loma has a good comeback win against someone on the Luke Campbell level where he can look magic.

Yeah, but what made Loma exchange from the 6th to the 12th.

Do you think it's because Teo's power decreased? Or Loma adjusted to Teo's power?

He doesn`t deserve that because he did nothing in first 5 rounds.

THat's your opinion, some guys like JMM ,Bud and Ward had it even.

So I guess it was not necessarily the shut out that you're describing.

No. He’s just too small to be a challenge to Lopez at 135.

Lopez will be fighting at 147 in the not too distant future. Loma is a tiny 135.

Truthfully it is tough to say.

It is sort of like the Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder situation where you kind of have to bring it to the big puncher to secure a victory which is what would need to be done.

Teofimo won that fight hands down but the comically wide scorecards show that Lomachenko is not going to win a decision if they rematch.

Either Lomachenko stops Teofimo or Teofimo stops Lomachenko. You have to favor Teofimo stopping Lomachenko but it is boxing and you have to wait until it happens.
