Canelo's trainer has already said they want Plant and they would prefer Plant. I see no reason why that fight could not get made. If he does fight at 168 for his next fight, you can kiss 160 goodbye along with any potential 160 opponent.

What a PBC fighter doesn’t want to do is go against Al’s plan. everyone wants this fight now. Al Haymon is the key man to make this fight happen.

Too soon for Caleb to be ready? Canelo seems to be ready and his trainer has already said they would like Plant in December. I doubt Canelo would take a risky fight after such a long layout and Caleb is a good enough test at 168 to gauge his draw power post GBP/DAZN. This way he can fight Plant in December then fight BJS or Smith etc in May.

6 fight deal, 8 figure paycheck per fight. Not sure how much you make but I know what I make lol and I'd say his deal ain't so bad lol. Besides he's gonna be 39 years old in a few months. Only see a third fight with Canelo going one way.

The bulk of his money in that deal was based off him fighting canelo... now with no canelo and the pandemic his paydays dropping significantly more

IMHO he is already a HoF, addin those names you said would only add or substract to his ATG status.

Only fight I'm not ok with is the Beterbiev one, I do like the Bivol because Bivol is amore of a natural SMW, Beterbiev fought his amateur as a Cruiserweight where he beat Usyk and other notables names, I just don't think it's fair to put a fighter who started his career as a Junior Welter to fight a natural Cruiserweight but it's just me.

But asides from that I do love all those names you threw around and I do hope he fights them in the next years.

That clip you chose of Canelo evading Jacobs is the best defensive boxing I've seen from Canelo. Beterviev is injury prone when training for his fights, that's a sign of the body aging. He is a monster though in his fights. That said if Canelo can get past that gauntlet of fighters, he'll be the man at the top. He would have to do his best boxing, punching, and fighting to win those fights. I definitely would love to see those fights take place. I appreciate, and respect your honest, and respectful response to my post.
