What you should have done was keep your hands up like you did for the first 6 rounds. You dropped your hands early in the 7th getting overconfident & he laid you out. Sure you got up but you were finished.

Though to be fair I expect Wilder may of finished the job soon after, or may of even been too unsteady on his feet to continue once he'd got up. But he didn't even get the chance.
