Why has Cuba, historically, underperformed when it comes to the pro's

With that said I haven’t seen any legit great khazak, Uzbek, Ukraine fighters yet either for now they are on par with Cuba.
They come in with hype but always tend to lose the big ones ala Loma and Ggg.Comment

That’s because pro boxing has business involved with it. Cubans have far lesser fanbase which means they don’t draw crowds.
We’ve seen them perform in the ring. They’ve shown that they brought their skills even in the pro ring. But mostly, they lose via decisions or they’re being outmatched unevenly. Most top fighters either duck them or, if they show up their balls to fight them, rob them with ridiculous scorecards. They don’t get favorable decisions because they’re not good for the business.
In amateurs, there’s no business in general and it’s just plain competition. They get favorable scores from unbiased judges which causes them to shine and have so much success.
Let’s face it. Pro boxing is more of a business than a sport. Cubans are one of the victims of this crooked system.Comment

Oscar Dela Hoya?Dude canelo is the only “light skinned good looking” Mexican to ever make it big and you have no idea how much ****tt they gave him in Mexico because of how he looked.
You have Mexicans stars going back to sal Sanchez, olivares, Chavez, Barrera, Morales, Marquez that we’re all pretty typical Mexican looking yet had no problem making it big.
Yes we got all those mexicans and i like them but freaking boxing wont let them be as great or as marketable if because they dont have the looks. except Chavez. yet in the end they lose to a slick african american in the end.Comment
