Whos Higher On Your P4P List, Teofimo Lopez or Errol Spence Jr?

Teofime, He’s the man at his division no doubt, dusting off the #2 guy at 135 in 2 rounds and then unifying to win all the titles vs the #1 guy at 135, who was also top 3 P4P. It’s close tho.

    How you guys see it?

Spence record is as good as Thurman's record before his lay off.

Spence is a superb fighter but one of the most overrated fighter in boxing.

Teo needs more championship fights to be P4P TOP 5, but Spence should not be there either.

Spence never moved up. Never took a quarter of the risks that guys like M.Garcia, Loma, Canelo, Inoue, or even that poor Santi Cruz took.

Teo beat Loma but this is sport, it's not because that you beat one guy/a team once that you are overall better, and should be ranked higher P4P or all time, just like in any sports, especially if that guy is coming from lower weights, maybe Loma would beat him in a rematch, maybe Loma would get KTFO...who knows, still props to Teo for a well deserved and beautifull win.

Nobody ranks higher Hearns than Duran despite the fact that Hearns beat him quite easely.

Teo will probably have a greater career than Spence IMO.

I see Teo having success moving up, he already unified 135, Spence not that much except maybe 154 wich is average, Spence still has Crawford problems at 147, Crawford will outbox him.

They both haven’t left their starting division, but Teo has the best win between the two. And let’s not forget the Commey annihilation. Teo is higher on my list. Errol has Porter, Kell and a LW Mikey Garcia.

I rank Spence higher pound for pound because I think he is a better all around fighter and is more proven. Spence is a harder puncher and averages more punches thrown and landed per round and has a better defense than Lopez.Lopez has two great wins in his last two fights but before that he beat nobody good. Spence has been a champion for many years with lots of good wins and he has more KO wins than Lopez has total fights. Just my honest answer to your question and not the answer you wanted since Lopez is your boxing god.

Pound for pound is supposed to be about how good you are for the weight class you fight in now. If Spence moves up he won't be as dominant at 154 or 160 as he is at 147 and that makes him worse not better pound for pound. spence is not overrated. He earned his high pound for pound ranking with many good wins over champions and top contenders and many more good wins than lopez who never moved up in weight either nor should he have to. Moving up in weight is what is highly overrated. It is how good you are for the weight class you are in tat matters.

Staying at your best weight and fighting the best challengers in your weight class makes you just as good or better pound for pound than a boxer who moves above his best weight class. Fighting the best fighters your own weight damn sure is risky. Hagler, Monzon and other all time greats never moved up a single pound in their career. Loma, Mikey, Rigo and Donaire all moved up into weight classes they did not belong in and all of them got beat by good naturally bigger men and dropped lower pound for pound. You are giving Lopez lots of credit for doing things he has not yet done and may never do.

Spence he has beaten 3 quality opponents. Teo only 1 really. Spence beat Mikey (yes he is a good 135 and 140 pounder) , Shawn, and Kell in England. Teo has beaten Loma (yes it is the better win but loma is a 130 lber) , and i guess i will say Commey is an okay win. Edge to Spence.

Spence. Teo has had two title defenses and one big win.
